Everyone Deserves Clean Water
Global Water has created a children’s book named Everyone Deserves Clean Water, which has both a humanitarian and science focus. This short book was created to share with teachers and parents who would like to educate children on the science of water, common water problems in developing countries including lack of access and poor quality and that everyone has the right to clean water! |

New Water Themed Music Video “Flow”
The Filpino-American Recording Artist Charmaine Clamor has honored Global Water by featuring our organization in her new water themed music video, “Flow.” The music video for "Flow," is intended to draw attention to our global water crisis. Working with children in both the audio recording and the music video, Ms. Clamor hopes to raise consciousness and inspire change. "I really believe the lyrics," Clamor says. "'It doesn't have to be this way. No, we're not condemned to slow decay.' This is a problem we're capable of fixing -- if people become aware!" |

Global Water and Peace Corps Collaboration - Major Funding Opportunity
We’re part of a unique collaborative effort in Guatemala called the “Healthy Schools Program.” This effort has developed over the years informally between Global Water, a local Guatemalan non-governmental organization (NGO), and Peace Corps volunteers. We’ve funded dozens of schools now through this program in Guatemala and hope to expand the program to other countries if funding becomes available. This has the potential to become a major program that could support technical work of Peace Corps volunteers around the world. If you have the resources and desire to fund a major program, please read about our program and contact Global Water to discuss.

Op Ed Piece - Clean Water Should be a Focus of America's Foreign Policy
Water is the key to allowing the rural areas of the developing world to actually develop. Enabling people to have clean water to drink and enough food to eat will undoubtedly bring about a safer world, reducing hunger, disease and poverty while enhancing health, education and productivity.
Nothing can impact the quality of life for people in the developing world as significantly as clean water. It’s the only “foreign aid” that can truly overcome the hunger, disease and poverty that are rampant throughout the developing world and it’s the only “foreign aid” that lasts a lifetime.

How to Build Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Facilities in Rural Areas
The following PowerPoint slides show instructions on how to build some of the water, sanitation, and hygiene-related facilities Global Water funds in rural areas of developing countries.
These instructions especially benefit Peace Corps volunteers and members of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that want to build water, sanitation and hygiene facilities for the communities they are working with, but may lack technical construction expertise.
